Follow me to 2* Sühring in Bangkok - a modern German restaurant by twin brothers Mathias and Thomas Sühring! The brothers have been showcasing their creative take on traditional German cuisine at their namesake restaurant since 2016. Located in a beautifully restored 1970s house, the restaurant offers 4 different dining ambiance including a glass house with lush garden views and an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs in action. I would highly recommend visiting during lunch time so you can enjoy the views from the dining rooms.

Inspired by childhood memories and family recipes, the tasting menu delivers elevated dishes with the utmost precision. I was impressed with the flavors, plating, and execution - the ultimate highlight was the stunning pate en croute! The idea of eating German cuisine has never been on the top of my mind in Bangkok, but I am glad to have finally eaten here. Thank you chefs for the wonderful afternoon!
