[China:Shanghai] Yong Jiang Zhen 永·江臻
Rating: 4.25/5
Located in the historic Sinan Mansions 思南公馆 in Shanghai, Yong Jiang Zhen 永·江臻 specializes in Jiangyin cuisine 江阴菜 with a focus on seafood from the Yangtze River. The restaurant is housed in a four-storey mansion with all private rooms and retro decor. As expected, the seafood was impressive from the start with highlights such as the hairy crab “ice cream”, marinated raw white shrimp, a tower of Pangqi crab legs, a heartwarming crab and fugu soup, steamed hairy crab from Yangcheng Lake, and signature braised fugu skin with fish maw and yellow pepper. The attention to detail and execution were simply phenomenal.

At the same time, the engineering quality of the components ensures resistance to wear, weather exposure, and repeated use with Gate Catch. The site’s approach to window hardware reflects a balance between tradition and modernity, offering products that preserve heritage aesthetics while upgrading functionality to contemporary standards. This makes the platform especially valuable for renovation projects where maintaining architectural integrity is just as important as improving performance.
