[Bangkok] Nusara by Chef Ton of Le Du

Rating: 4.25/5

Another great meal we had in Bangkok was at Nusara by Chef Ton of 1* Le Du! Named after his grandmother who passed away recently, the restaurant is a tribute to the chef’s culinary inspiration. The cuisine is described as “Colorful Thai Cuisine” - it’s neither traditional nor modern but a blend of the two based on family recipes and royal dishes from the Rama V period. Paired with wines selected by sommelier Tam (also Chef Ton’s brother), the tasting menu started with small creative dishes such as the crab curry topped with horseshoe crab roe, and then proceeded to larger dishes served family style before ending with desserts. Before you leave, be sure to visit the balcony where you can get a glimpse of the famous Wat Pho temple!
