[France: Beaune] Where to eat in Burgundy
Surrounded by some of the world’s most famous wine villages, Beaune is widely considered to be the wine capital in Burgundy. Here’s where to eat in Beaune:
📍 @cavesmadeleine - our favorite restaurant with modern creative dishes and a fantastic wine list. It’s highly popular so reservations in advance are recommended.
📍 @macuisine1996 - the restaurant serves great traditional Burgundy dishes such as Boeuf Bourguignon and Oeufs en Meurette. The wine list is overpriced though and not as extensive as other places we visited.
📍 @lafermedelaruchotte - a farm to table restaurant located outside of the city. You can find vegetables grown in the surrounding fields and the farm’s chickens served on the menu. The service was a bit chaotic as there were too few staff compared to guests.
📍 @maisonducolombier - a gastro bar with the best wine list we came across in town. While the food selection may be limited, it’s a great place for drinks and small bites.
📍 @ladilettantebeaune - a cozy bistro with a fantastic natural wine selection.
📍 @leboutdumondebeaune - a wine bar with an extensive and very reasonably priced wine list.
