A splendid stay in the heart of Barcelona at Monument Hotel!
Housed in a 19th-century mansion on the iconic Passeig de Gràcia, the hotel is perfectly located with just steps from luxury boutiques, vibrant restaurants, and Gaudí’s masterpieces Casa Batllo and La Pedrera. It’s also home to 3* Lasarte by Martin Berasategyu - the chef with the most Michelin stars in Spain - and its more casual sibling Bera which serves excellent shared plates and vibrant cocktails.The hotel features 84 elegantly designed rooms and suites - all with balconies facing the city or inner courtyard. We stayed in a Junior Suite overlooking the street but thanks to excellent soundproofing, it was wonderfully quiet despite its central location. The bathrooms are spacious with freestanding tubs, separate rain showers, and heated floors.
Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace with à la carte options and a generous buffet spread. The same level also houses the swimming pool with plush sunbeds - the perfect spot to unwind after a full day exploring the city. Highly recommended for a luxurious and central Barcelona experience!
