[Macau] Gastro-Tour at 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana

The festivities for Asia's 50 Best Restaurants started with a special Gastro-Tour around Asia at 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo Bombana in Galaxy Macau where we had the chance to taste 8 dishes from 8 chefs including:

- Chef Umberto Bombana of 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana, Hong Kong

- Chef Ton Thitid Tassanakajohn of Le Du, Bangkok

- Chef Kirk Westaway of Jaan, Singapore

- Chef Tetsuya Wakuda of Waku Ghin, Singapore

- Chef Luca Fantin of Il Ristorante Luca Fantin, Tokyo

- Chef Dharshan Munidasa of Ministry of Crab, Sri Lanka

- Chef Riccardo La Perna of 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana, Shanghai

- Chef Antimo Maria Merone of 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana, Macau

It was an incredible opportunity to attend this 16-hands collaboration lunch where we got to try signature dishes from top chefs across Asia, and one of the crowd favorites was definitely the garlic chili crab from Ministry of Crab. After the meal, we each received a copy of the menu signed by all 8 chefs - what a fantastic way to kick off this special culinary week!
