Whole Tomato Rice - 整個蕃茄飯
I decided to try making the my own whole tomato rice after seeing its popularity explode on the internet as it seemed super easy to do. I followed the recipe from one of my favorite cooking channels on YouTube and it came out delicious! Check out the video tutorial from ochikeron here or read on below.
Ingredients:
2 cups of rice
1 whole tomato
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tsp olive oil
2 cups of rice

Instructions:
1. Wash rice and add water to the appropriate level indicated in the rice cooker
2. Remove 6 tbsp of water from the pot for the water amount of tomato and add in the salt, pepper, and olive oil. Mix everything together.
3. Remove the stem from the top and bottom of tomato and place it in the center of the rice cooker
4. Press start to cook the rice as normal
5. Once the rice is cooked, toss the rice evenly with the tomato and serve
